    Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo (Esq)

    Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo (Esq) holds a Law Degree from the University of Ghana and the youngest ever product of the Ghana School of Law graduating in 2004 at the age of 22. She holds a Barrister at Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law, two Master of Laws Degrees in Government Procurement Law and Public Procurement Law & Policy from the George Washington University, U.S.A, and the Nottingham University U.K respectively. She acquired certificates in Governance, Gender and Leadership from the Harvard Kenny School of Government, U.S.A. Furthermore, she holds an Executive certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kenny School, U.S.A as well as various professional certificates in Public Procurement from the International Law Institute, Georgetown University, U.S.A. Remarkably, she served as the first Minister of State in charge of Public Procurement, and Deputy Majority Leader of Ghana's Parliament (2013- 2017). She served as the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya for 12years. She served on many parliamentary committees including the Finance Foreign Affairs committees of Ghana's Parliament, Public Accounts, Trade and Industry, Constitutional. Legal and Parliament Affairs. Considerate and passionate on matters pertaining to women, children, persons with disability, (PWD), she was appointed the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection (2021-2022). She founded the Adwoa Safo Foundation in 2019 to champion the course of women and children with disabilities. Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo (Esq) chaired the Women Caucus of Ghana's Parliament (2017- 2021). She served on the Pan African Parliament (2017- 2018), the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (2017-2021) and many reputable Boards of state institutions. She is a revered member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and affiliated with many other international bodies including the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA), Women Political Leaders Forum (WL), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

    JUNIOR ASSOCIATE

    Christiana Obeng-Koranteng

    Christiana is a Junior Associate at Safo Attorneys @Law. Christiana Obeng-Koranteng acquired a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the prestigious University of Ghana, after which she had her National Service a t the Criminal Division of the Legal Aid Commission. She proceeded to the Ghana School of Law, and now holds a Barrister-at-Law Certificate after being called to the Bar in 2024. She had her pupillage at Ecobank Ghana PLC. Furthermore, she has worked as a volunteer in the Fair Justice Initiative, the Happy Perioding Project and on the local organizing team at the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria for the 27th African Human Rights Moot Court Competition 2018. Christiana has actively participated in many conferences and training seminars including the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative and the Law Society of England and Wales Webinar, Marriage Governance Conference 2024, Paralegal Training on Legal Aid and Human Rights by GIZ/Legal Resources Centre, the 6th Annual Legal Ethics Training Programme and the International Criminal Law and Justice Programme (2022) by the African Centre of International Criminal Justice. In her final year of undergraduate studies, she wrote a long essay paper entitled, saying "Yes' After the Fact; Can Consent be Retrospective? Aside law, Christiana is into creative writing and some publications to her credit both locally on blogs, and internationally on the Writers Space Africa- Ghana, Awens3m 2nd Edition (December 2022).
